Managing relationships has its rewards. You may be trying to land a job, get that promotion, or score an awesome business deal. If your intent is to build solid relationships, it requires time and energy. The problem is that most people don't put their energy in the right places. So not only do you end up wasting time, you're not involved in mutually beneficial relationships. There was a time when I thought I needed to approach as many people as possible. I hit a wall when I realized I needed to put more focus towards the relationships, and build better rapport. When I started applying the right strategies, I started getting serious returns. I was getting hooked up with opportunities I would have never dreamt of. When you do it right, it makes the people around you feel confident in YOU. I've broken down this approach into 3 "Rocks" that have completely changed my life!
